Windows 10 Xbox flashing "Please wait" window when I do something

That's odd. How did you install Windows 11? Upgrading from Windows 10 or doing a clean install with the tool/flash drive?

Hi there Alex welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!

I've done a factory reset and it's not worked. I can no longer view achievements on the smartglass app or the windows 10 app either

Smartglass - "Something went wrong when loading this section"

Windows 10 - "Something went wrong with loading this data. Invalid pointer"

Xbox One - "Cannot view achievements at this time. Please try again later"

This was happening to me until I signed in to the Xbox Console Companion app first. Perhaps the new app piggy backs off the old? Might be worth a shot. Best.
