Windows 10 Xbox Console companion not receiving notifications

I've got all my settings to say I need notifications I believe (if ya'll know all the places to do that I won't mind a refresher) but I have to manually join parties and games. Sometimes I can't do that. I also went into the settings and reset the app.
It won't let me uninstall it to reinstall.

I've been searching endlessly for months on end how to fix this. As of a few minutes ago I found the fix, at least this worked for me and I've never seen it on any other forum... Search in windows for Focus Assist. Where it says Priority
Only, find the blue text that says Customize your priority list. Scroll down a bit to the Apps section. If it shows console companion under that, left click then remove. After that go back into the companion app, settings, notifications. There
should then be an options to receive party and game invitation notifications.
