Windows 10 & xBox Companion with multiple monitors

I have a Win10 computer (yes, with all the updates) on which I regularly use three monitors. I recently started using xBox Companion on one of the monitors and can game with an xBox controller using Bluetooth on the computer. The issue is if I need to mouse
to another application (generally in another window), all controller activity stops in the Companion window even when the controller is still being utilized.

What needs to be set or modified in order to continue to game in the Companion window while mousing or keyboarding in another?

Maybe they simply haven't thinking about this scenario because not every PC gamer is a streamer but I agree with your point of view, this should be fixed

I don't know if this is possible because when you use your mouse somewhere else, you move the focus on other window/app, you must refocus to companion app in order interact with correctly

There should be settings in the display tab that allow you to change how the focus and interaction of each display is handled. But I think this is new area with streaming and mult monitor use today that needs some improvement.

Agree with the focus issue, but MS should also understand the nature of modern gaming with streaming. The need to continue without loss of focus from the xBox Companion app when using a game controller and taking action with a mouse or keyboard in another
monitor is something the engineers should figure out.
