Windows 10 Xbox app will not let me send messages. Help!

Hello, I've been experiencing an issue with the Windows 10 Xbox app where it will no longer allow me to read or send messages through it. I've tried multiple methods to attempt to remedy this and have even done a step by step with a support team member.
He said he'd contact me again in up to 78hrs after we failed to fix the problem. The support member never contacted me again. Does anyone know how to get my messaging to work again?

This is from the 9901 build someone leaked a bunch of information such as cortana (ms version of siri) running on windows 10 its a built in app that on the x1 you can view the store friends send and receive messages basically a smartglass app for windows 10

 

I in November 13, 2016 for the Gears of war 4,but I didn't receive the Gears of war 1-3 redeem code

The codes are usually send as a message to your Xbox, check your messages in the Xbox App on windows 10, or on your Xbox.

For further details I am able to send and read messages on both the Phone app and the Xbox itself.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having have you checked your
privacy settings. There may been a change in there to communication which is preventing you from reading or sending messages.

I went through my privacy settings and don't see any reason to believe that they are the reason this is happening.

Please give us an insight to the steps that were already taken.

I would recommend signing out of the app then
signing back in if this step has not been taken yet.

To sign out:

Three lines > Settings > Account >
Sign out

Also, go to the Xbox app on Windows 10:

1. Click on the 3 lines

2. click on Settings

3. Go to Network

What does it say under Xbox Multiplayer?

Have you delete your app and reintstall app?

 

As for what has been done. I've done nearly everything I could think of from deleting and reinstalling the app to running repair through "run".

I have singed in and out multiple times to try and make it work.

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?



Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:



1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*|
Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Very sorry for the long time between responses, had gotten sick and couldn't do anything for awhile.

I've tried this method and still cannot send messages or view them. Nothing really seems to work. I did do a step by step with a support member, who told me he would re-contact me in under 2 days. He never did, so I assume they exhausted all reasonable solutions.
This is really bothersome as I used the Xbox app on my PC quite frequently.
