Windows 10 Xbox App Mic Issues

Hey DARTH LimiteDZz, since you are experiencing issues with your Xbox App on your Windows 10 PC, I shifted your thread to the better suited section - just a head's up!

That said, let's have you check some settings:

• Is your version of Windows 10 fully updated?
• Is your Xbox App fully up to date?
• Is your USB mic's firmware fully updated?
• And what USB mic are you trying to use?

Check for those updates and see if any of that helps. If not, post back with your mic's information and we'll see what we can do next.

Is your Windows 10 install currently activated at least, or are you running Windows 10 without a key currently? While it may not be interfering with your mic, it does get a little tough for us if the Windows 10 install isn't activated by a key yet. Additionally,
is your Windows 10 PC struggling to detect the headset or is it only when used within the Xbox app. Does the mic pick up audio within 'Microphone setup' (Search 'Microphone setup' on the Start Menu to test).

Lastly, do you happen to own a different pair of headphones with a mic to test? That will help us narrow down if the issue is specifically with that Turtle Beach headset or if Windows isn't picking up sound in general. If it is only occurring with your Turtle
Beach headset, you will want to reach out to Turtle Beach support for further assistance.

Hello @DaughterComet89. You have the latest version of the Xbox app. In order to use mic recording you need the November update of Windows 10 as well. Please look here for information on updating your OS:
