Windows 10 Xbox App - Mic Buzzing

Hey all,

I have a little problem with my Xbox App.

Everytime I join a Party my Microphone is buzzing alot.

But my Microphone works fine for example with Skype, Teamspeak or Discord.

Can someone help me ?

I dont know why it happend recently, it worked very well for a long time.

your issue and any troubleshooting steps (if any) you’ve tried so far.

I do believe it might be an issue with the splitter itself, have you tried another splitter? You can also check out the following thread as well:

It can't be my Splitter, why should my splitter work on other apps like Skype

with no problems.

Its only the Xbox Win10 app.

and btw. the link you posted into your answer doesnt work.

Is it doing this from both Windows 10 PC and your mobile device app?

Well the app on my phone works like it should work.

But on my computer the mic is buzzing for my party members.

And they can't hear me, only my microphone buzzing.

 

My connection is fine

 

The app on your phone and the app on your computer is the same app. So if one works and the other doesn't, the only thing that is different is the network being used. I would try a network and pc reboot. Make sure you unplug your router for no less than
5 minutes and reconnect. Please reply if we can assist.

 

That doesnt work ..

Maybe its because of my new router ?

It's a Fritz Box and I had problems with Teredo a while ago, what I just fixed.

But why isnt the Mic not working anyways.

Thanks for reaching out to us! With regard to your concern, we suggest plugging in a different headset to find out if this is an audio port issue. By the way, does the mic make the buzzing noise in party chat when the mic is muted? When did this issue first
start happening?

Try the following please:

Step 1:
Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps using the link below. This will help remove problems with an app from Microsoft Store.

Step 2: Reset the Xbox app settings.

1. Click Start and click Settings.
2. Select System.
3. Select Apps & features.
4. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.
5. Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.

The Troubleshooter doesnt work at all.

Like I sad, the problem only appears in the Xbox App.

Teamspeak, Discord and Skype works very well.

Thanks for keeping us updated regarding this situation. Sorry for all the frustration you are having when trying to
use the mic without the buzzing noise. Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App? Here
are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box
2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator
3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
   *xboxapp*|
   Remove-AppxPackage
4. Hit Enter
5. Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Here is another possible solution:

1. Copy the link provided
   Xbox
   Identity provider.
2. When you copy and paste the link open it in Microsoft Store.
3. Install the app then launch Xbox App
4. it should ask you to sign in again completely.

Try this out and let us know the results.

 

Nope, nothing works, I even tried to reinstall Win10 ^^

My Splitter isnt the problem either, it works fine with other

communication softwares like Skype and others.
