    Windows 10 Xbox App issues with remote play


    Hello all, was looking for some help pertaining to being stuck on the Next, select Enable on your console's screen prompt. I have tried scouring the internet and anything posted on reddit with no solution working for me. I tried resetting my network, disconnecting and forgetting the network, redownloading the app, I don't have an external HDD plugged in just an HDMI cord and the AC adapter.

    Disconnected from Cloud Gaming Session

    I'm having the exact same issue.

    iOS Xbox app works fine with remote play.

    Brand new Windows 10 PC causes the error.

    Xbox app (PC) Remote play option disappeared been using it for over a month Trouble shooting I have done

    on console I have double checked remote features are enabled/cleared alternative mac address/reset keep games and apps/checked for updates.

    on PC side I have repaired/reset Xbox app/ and Xbox insider hub checked for window updates/App updates and the last thing I tried was pin hole reset with my modem. I have Xbox series x

    Remote play icon is all working fine on Xbox One and mobile just not PC Please Help Notice this issue at 10.30am 10/10/2022

    We were unable to turn on your console. Make sure this device is on the same network as your console and your console is set to instant on.

    The windows 10 xbox app updated to 22.24.1006 today and fixed my remote start issue using XB1S over wireless.

    Need help with Xbox Remote play, black screen after starting remote play

    In the Windows 10 Xbox app, click on the three dots next to the button to connect to the Xbox via remote play and choose 'Remove Console'. Once it is removed, select 'Add Console' and go through the process of adding the console back as a remote play option. This will require you to be at your actual Xbox to set up up.
