    Windows 10 Xbox App Error (0x409) 0x800700C1


    I am running a Windows 10 PC, and used to be able to use the Xbox app successfully and other apps that use it (Minecraft Win10 Edition) which requires you to login to Xbox Live. Now how am I supposed to play the game if I can't sign in? Not exactly sure
    when the problem occured... It was around Feburary-March this year. When I open the xbox app it opens, but then a black box (which I'm assuming is supposed to be the sign-in box) is black and then closes with the error "We can't sign you in right now. Try
    again later. (0x409) 0x800700C1". I tried all the troubleshooting on this page Full Fix: Unable to Sign in to Xbox Account in Windows 10 and this page Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

    None of which the fixes seem to help.

    The version of Xbox is 15.18.14017.00000

    The issue still persists in the Xbox App Beta. Please reply a solution as I want to get back with gaming with my Xbox account as soon as possible!

    There are several possible reasons as to why you can't sign in to the Xbox app on Windows 10. The error code (0x409) 0x80070422 indicates that some of the services the Xbox App uses have not been enabled, or not working properly.
