Windows 10: Unable to detect Xbox one wireless controllers through USB

Hi

Previously using PS3 controllers connecting through SCPtoolkit.

Decided to change and purchased Xbox one controllers however after several tries windows still unable to detect controllers.

Suspected missing drivers.

Tried a few troubleshoot methods but failed:

Update windows

Plug in and out

Swopping USB cables

Your help is appreciated.

It is 10am 27th of October - where is the promised driver and the promised Xbox Accessories App?

HELP! my controller seems to be able to connect to my computer via usb cable and the wireless adapter but the Xbox accessories app is unable to detect a controller. When I first connected the controller via wireless adapter, it was able to detect it and
there were some driver updates, but it disconnected halfway through and after many retries, I have yet to be able to make Xbox Accessories detect controller.

 

Cannot Sync Xbox One Wireless controller with adapter for Windows 10!

I bought a XB1 Wireless Controller with Adapter for Windows. Currently I'm running on Windows 10. My computer cannot detect the connection between the Adapter and Wireless Controller, nothing was detected on the Game Controller application as well as Xbox
Accessories App (Store).

I tried with XB1 micro-USB as well and nothing seem to work.

Had anyone faced the same issue as me?

Sounds like the
controller could use an update (on windows) go ahead and try the steps posted and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for responding.

Unfortunately, the controller is still not detectable by my PC.

Tried using the Xbox accessories app and was prompted to "connect an xbox one controller to start", no response when i did so.

Try hardwiring the controller and check if its detected!
