Windows 10 Streaming

I keep getting the message to ‘Sign in to console with this account’, but I’m already signed in with same gamertag on both devices. I’ve done the logging in and out of each device, restarting devices, network resetting, completely reset the xbox app, forgot
and reconnected to console on app, and making sure time/date and language settings are correct. Could someone please assist me with a solution to this issue?

Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

The Xbox One streams wirelessly to a pc that has windows 10 and the Xbox app installed on it.

It does not matter that a TV is connected to the Xbox One. The console does need to be powered on to stream.

I had the same issue. My problem turned out to be the xbox app on windows 10. It needed to be updated. Go into the windows store and click on your icon in top right corner. You should then look for an update all button. Took a couple of tries and 1
reboot, but finally got it working.

Could you please try deleting your gamertag on the console then powercycle it by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. When you restart you can redownload your gamertag to see if that helps.
