Windows 10 Streaming App Video Freezing Occasionally

For the past 3-4 months, even after changing routers (Netgear R9000, Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4, Unifi Security Gateway) and Wireless access points (built in to Nighthawk, Unifi NanoHD), the bands those wireless devices run on, and even wireless and wired devices running simultaneously in the house, I am still experiencing varying amounts of cutting out from the Windows 10 Xbox Console Companion (& beta) app with in-home streaming.

In the attached photo, you can see that the video has dropped out to nothing for up to 1 second three times in that particular minute. This doesn't sound bad but it can be detrimental to game play when it happens. I am not sure what is going on here -- I noticed using the Game Streaming app for Android that I don't have this occur at all. When this occurs the audio does not stutter and I do not experience the typical "Network Connection Issues" that you might see when a signal is getting bad and you're using in-home streaming.

I have changed the streaming resolution from low to high -- it doesn't matter. I've noted temperatures outside and scanned the 5ghz frequency and changed to many different bands. I've hard-wired (on my desktop upstairs) and run wirelessly over 5Ghz and 2Ghz.

I guess my question is two fold: Has anyone else experienced this and should I stop holding out hope for in-home streaming this way? I nearly bought a 10 inch tablet just to use the Game Stream Preview app to be able to stream better, since I don't experience the same amount of issues. This is important to me as I am a new dad and I don't have as much time to spend in the room where the Xbox is anymore. Just looking for others thoughts here as most of the topics on this particular type of streaming tend to be many years old and not relevant.
