Windows 10 Quantum Break, Alan Wake Xbox 360 Codes

From looking at the shambles that has been this #CodeGate I am beginning to wonder if I ever will receive the codes as promised for Pre-Ordering.

The only and sole purpose I pre-ordered Quantum Break for the Xbox One was due to the incentives and promotions however Microsoft/Remedy have failed to deliver with the stated time frames. Furthermore there has been no official statement and no official
response to this matter. I find it disgusting customer experience that after Web chat and Twitter messages I am still no further forward to a resolution to this.

I anticipate this post like so many others in this forum will be closed or responded to with the same blanket statement that it is being looked into and the codes should be arriving or that I should check my messages on Xbox Live.

I am now exercising my right to a refund of the purchase I made due to being Miss-Sold a product under false pretences of receiving the codes within 7-10 days.

Please reply with how I can obtain a refund.

I received one code from quantum break preorder

The codes for Quantum Break on Windows 10, Alan Wake game, The Writer DLC and The Signal DLC will be sent within 7 to 10 days after launch.

Players who pre-ordered Quantum Break will receive the following via their message center:

Xbox Support are aware of this issue, and have posted an update here:
forums.xbox.com/.../2152556.aspx.

Basically, there was an issue which has been identified, and is currently in the process of being rectified.

I understand an issue was identified but that still leaves me as a paying customer at a loss for being sold a product not as described.

I was misled by the company to Pre-Purchase/Pre-Order the game with the promise that the codes would arrive within 7-10 working days.

There would have been no need for me to have pre-orderd the game and I could of got the game 40% cheaper elsewhere from 3rd party sites/stores than the price I paid directly to Microsoft.

I still would like to know 2 things.

1. How do I obtain a refund?

2. What is the procedure for making a formal complaint?

The problem with the codes would have been unanticipated, and as with all technology things do sometimes go wrong. The team behind this are working to resolve it.

If you do wish to obtain a refund for your purchase, you may be able to do so (at the discression of Microsoft) by contacting them here:
support.xbox.com/contact-us

If you feel the need to raise a complaint, you can also do.that while contacting them.

I understand you feel frustrated, however as official support and myself have both said, they are working on resolving the situation for all those affected.
