Windows 10 preview build 10547 - Xbox streaming broken

Thanks for letting us know, everyone. We appreciate all the posts about this, and we're looking into this as quickly as we can.

 

The issue is back for me. It was working by toggling and rebooting, but it's not working anymore.

 

Tried this 'fix' several times but still not working for me.

I had both Xbox App & Xbox Beta switched them both off, rebooted, toggled ON & OFF, rebooted, same issue.

In addition the other info I posted, the other anomaly is regardless if the Xbox app is started or not, when I plug in my controller, I get the USB acknowledgment sound but then my screen flashes off and on.

 

same input problems, and also the screen flickering with controller connection here.

 

Finally got home and was disappointed to see that the suggested fix didn't work for me either. I tried rebooting both my tablet and my Xbox, switching out of tablet mode, switching controllers, changing drivers, and changing streaming quality but nothing
worked.

 

The fix didn't work here either, even if it did I think the constant mouse cursor and top menu bar while playing could get irritating. Another thread suggested we should get a proper MS fix "soon"

 

Upgraded to Xbox App beta 9.9.21000 but still having the same issue:

Able to stream to my Xbox, but the controller is passing its input to both the Xbox and the Xbox App beta - the Xbox is controllable but the Xbox App beta is also being controlled by the controller - so pressing the B button at any time immediately terminates
the streaming.

On your Xbox App on the PC, navigate to Settings > Xbox One and toggle the "Typing on Xbox One" option "Show keyboard when I'm typing on my console" to Off."

Enabling that option at the moment reproduces the bug."

I'm getting RobG88's symptoms but can't install the Beta app fro the store, really could do with a package to install it without using the store.

Burnz316's find worked for me as well. That plus updating to the Beta app.

 

Still not working for me. I have tried Burnz's find, but no go. I am running Windows 10 build 10547, and have the latest Xbox App version installed. You move the sticks and it controls the game and brings up the Xbox App menu. As soon as I hit B,I am
booted out of streaming.

I was streaming games a ton and am REALLY looking forward to having this fixed.

 

Updating to the Xbox (Beta) app version 9.9.25033 fixed most of the issues for me. I still had a popup ask if I wanted to open the game bar that stole the controller focus for a few seconds until it went away.
