Windows 10 preview build 10547 - Xbox streaming broken

I upgraded my Dell Venue 8 Pro last night to build 10547. I just tried to stream a game from my Xbox One to the tablet, but the Xbox controller seems to be acting like a keyboard. It could navigate UI controls with the directional pad and would completely
cancel out of the streaming with a press of the B button. Has anyone else had this issue yet? If so, has a workaround been figured out?

Microsoft Solitaire Collection stops working when game is complete on WIN10 Build 10547.

Play 'KLONDIKE' game works but when completed, screen goes DIM and then NOTHING HAPPENS - no splash, no selection to RETRY or go to HOME.

Only way to play again is to close program and relaunch.

This started right after update to Windows 10 preview build #10547

 

Xbox streaming, B button stop stream

skiddyskd, I'm using the 10547 preview build also. Xbox App version 9.9.16003.0000. I'm also participating in the Xbox One Preview program. This issue is new and very annoying. Still no fix available.

 

Hi, having same issue. Upgraded to build 10547 and xbox app version 9.916003.00000 today and settled down for an evening of play. But every game tried and when "B" button was required, the streaming was exited.

 

Please can someone from Microsoft provide us a solution? CANT STREAM AT ALL UNTIL IT IS FIXED!

IMHO it seems like the controller input (bumps, sticks, buttons) is being passed to both the Xbox App & the Xbox One. I can see the Xbox App menu continuously popping up with each stick - left or right - but it all comes down to whenever the B button is
pressed the stream window closes and it's game over.

My laptop upgraded to Windows 10 preview build 10547 early this morning 9/19/15.

Since I have not been able to properly stream via Xbox App (build 16003) & Xbox App Beta (build 16000).

After contacting to my Xbox, the menu system for the Xbox App is still active -- as if I'm moving my mouse to the top of the screen or I've mouse clicked on the screen.

I'm able to navigate with bumpers and sticks, but each movement that focuses on tiles results in the Xbox App menu popping up and when I click the B button the streaming window instantly closes because the controller is passing input from the controller
to the Xbox App rather then the Xbox itself.

 

I am having this issue as well. I use this because I can play in my room without waking up my newborn son and tonight it's broken.

 

yes this is really happening in build 10547. Major bug, needs fixed.

 

Yes this is a MAJOR ISSUE because it makes streaming to Windows 10 IMPOSSIBLE until it is fixed! Ready to go back to the previous build if it is not fixed by tomorrow!

 

A few more notes:

- Checked my controller firmware - both are up-to-date (launched update controller to double check)

- Powered down Xbox One - held power button for 8 seconds

- Rebooted laptop

Still same issue with controller input being passed to the app in addition to Xbox App.

 

Yep. This is happening over here too.

 

Bad news? if you roll back you will have to settle for installing all your apps again....oh wait, you do that each time a new "build" is installed? please fix. gaming on windows 10 is what got me here.

 

This is happening for me too. I did manage to get it to work last night. I'm not sure of what I did, but this morning, the controller input is breaking the app again like everyone else here. Also in this new build, sometimes when I go to Connect, I get a
message saying:

"We couldn't connect to your console. Make sure the console is still on and connected to the same network as this device."

This issue never happened in the prior build for me.

On your Xbox App on the PC, navigate to Settings > Xbox One and toggle the "Typing on Xbox One" option "Show keyboard when I'm typing on my console" to Off.

Enabling that option at the moment reproduces the bug."

 

Initially this fix did not work for me. I rebooted and then I was no longer having the B button issue. I then toggled it back on, rebooted and then had the B button issue again. Then again, I togged the option off, rebooted and it was fixed again.
