Can you try signing out and log in again with your account to see if that helps?

If not, try this:
"Open the run menu: Windows + R

Type: regedit

Follow this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services

In services search for GamingServices and GamingServicesNet and delete both

After that you should be able to start the download "

Thanks for the suggestion. Don't think I will bother to do this for the odd game (think it's only a couple of games) that don't install because of the family group thing. Just wish the Microsoft implementation of family accounts was not so sloppy.

I've tried all the above and the Conan game still will not install.

The age restriction problem had been going on for me a long while before yesterday.

The error exists in the admin account. I don't think the problem is with the computer but with either the X box app or more likely the Gaming Services app. I found a workaround in this link [Resolved] [Xbox App] "This location isn't set - Microsoft Community

I found that if I try to install the Gamepass and owned games in the Microsoft Store app rather than the X box app, the games install with no issues. So this workaround is fine. I suspect the problem with the X box app is in the Gaming Services since for whatever reason during one of the troubleshoot steps I found that when I try to reinstall Gaming Services after uninstalling, it does not give me User Account Control (UAC) prompt like the troubleshoot step describes.

I do find that the odd game will still not install for me in Xbox app nor the Store app. Think this might be a different issue because I don't even get as far as the drive installation selection page. For instance, when I click on the Install button in either app for the game "Conan Exiles' I do not get any response at all, although sometimes when I click on install, it says I do not have the appropriate age permissions to install the game (even though I actually do). Not sure if you know what the issue here might be, It seems related to incorrect reading of my Xbox profile by both the apps.
