    Windows 10 Minecraft is not letting me play?


    Today is Tuesday, August 6 2019.

    Today i logged into my computer to play some minecraft for the windows 10 when unexpectedly it told me to buy either the starter pack or the master pack even though i already had a copy of the game i got for free with my Java Edition account. Is there
    anything i can do to bring it back? i tried hitting the "buy" button then it hit me with an error page. I have proof that i played the game yesterday (August 5th 2019).

    - is my Xbox username

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    We've seen a few other similar threads recently about the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft that was redeemed from the code provided by Mojang either being downloaded as a trial or asking those who redeemed it previously to re-buy
    the license.

    I suggest checking your Microsoft account's order history and also the games owned by the account by visiting the two following links:


    Let us know if you can find evidence that your account still owns the game license for Minecraft Windows 10 edition.

    I own the digital copy of Minecraft and have been an Insider for 3 months and it hasn't showed up for me either. I downloaded the Insider App on Windows 10 and it let me download the beta for the Windows 10 edition, but I don't own it so I can't play it.
