Windows 10 Minecraft Beta wont downgrade

I was trying to play with my friend and he had the beta version, so i got the insider hub and downloaded the beta. We still couldn't play, so we tried downgrading and when i unenrolled and uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft it was still on the beta version
of 1.13.17.0

I do know that you have to unenroll all of your Microsoft accounts sometimes for it to work, but my other account doesn't have an Xbox account setup and i have never used Xbox Insider Hub on that account.

We've seen this before a few times, so I've listed the steps below that have been seen to work in the past.

This issue can occur on the PC when more than one account has signed in and launched the beta version of Minecraft. Therefore, if you have unregistered on one account, but at some point launched the beta version of Minecraft on another account, that other
account will retain the rights to the Minecraft Beta.

One workaround would be to launch the Xbox Insider Hub on any accounts which have launched the Minecraft Beta on that PC and unenroll from the beta via the Xbox Insider Hub. If you don't have access to all accounts that might have accessed the beta via your
PC, or this is not the case, then please see the steps below.

To remove the beta version of Minecraft from all registered users on the PC:

On the PC, press Windows Key + X.
Select Command Prompt (Admin).
In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type: powershell
Press Enter.
In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or copy & paste: Get-AppxPackage -allusers *minecraftUWP* | remove-appxpackage -allusers
Press Enter.
You can now close the Command Prompt window.

After performing either of these solutions, you will need to uninstall/reinstall Minecraft to complete the removal of the beta version.

Hello Marshmellow,

Do you own the PC version of Minecraft? If not you only have the beta and wont be able to upgrade unless you purchase the regular Minecraft for windows 10. If you do own the PC version of Minecraft you should be able to upgrade to the Minecraft windows 10
edition for free. Check this website on the PC and see if it says to install or purchase.

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.
