Windows 10 error for playing games

windows 10 device is up to date. The second thing to do would be to make sure if you have an antivirus or firewall protect that it is allow those select games to download from the cloud. Which games in particular are experiencing these issues?

Paul, yes my pc is up to date. it is set to do that automatically, a Win10 feature.

I have never had any issues until the last Win10 update.

The error I described will not allow the Microsoft Ultimate word games to play.

I use Microsoft firewall/antivirus defender, also a Win10 feature.

The problem is the updates. Every time, and I mean Every time, there is a Win10 update, their is an issue of some kind.

The problem are the Microsoft techs. I feel, but obviously don't know for sure, that the updates are not tested properly before they are issued.

Not stating that to be rude. It's just how I feel. You have no idea how many times I have had to have Win10 removed and reinstalled because of issues with Microsoft. I refuse to do that again.

Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*|
Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.

Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

When i try to play games that are not compatible with windows 10, on starting the game.exe it shows an error saying "the application is unable to start correctly (error: 0xc000007b)". This error only occur in those games that are not compatible
with windows 10. Please help!

First: always check if you have drivers and WIndows updated.

Second: check also if your games are updated.

Third: if you are playing really old games and you are 100% sure that are not compatible with Windows 10, you can try to run them as an older Windows version.

Additionally, remember that "Run as Administrator" is a better choice for various games.
