Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft Crashes on Start

I am trying to play the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft (version 1.11.1.0) on my computer. When I open the app, I am shown the "Mojang" logo and it attempts to load for a few seconds.

I have all the latest Windows 10 updates. Windows Store is updated. Minecraft is the most updated version. My graphics card driver (Intel ® HD Graphics 4600) is updated. I have tried running the Windows Apps troubleshooter as well. None of this is working.

Any ideas?

We apologize for the inconvenience this caused but at this point (since Minecraft is the only game having issues) we would like to suggest reaching out to
Mojang support since would more than likely be on their end (perhaps a corrupt license). Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

So i assume that you have the game connected to your Xbox gamer tag, so if you open the Xbox app. Then search Minecraft windows 10 choose it and if it detects it installed when you click on it. It will have a play button and click and it should launch the
game

Unfortunately that did not work either. Minecraft appears to load to about 70-80% and then crashes.

I also want to point out that other games I have, such as Sea of Thieves, correctly work. It is only Minecraft
