Windows 10 DVR Not Recording Audio

Ever since the Windows 10 XBox DVR app was updated - my microphone audio will NOT record despite ALL of the settings being turned on and configured according to the instructions on the microsoft website and the app. I will include pictures as proof.

I have attempted to use both my Blue Yeti Mic and my Gaming headset to attempt to fix this problem, they both work without any issues on apps such as Discord, the XBox in game chat, and Skype - yet for some reason FAIL to work on the DVR. They are turned on,
and NOT muted.

When I go to use the DVR in the game, the microphone icon is turned on, I simply am unable to take a picture of it to prove that it indeed selected to be on. I have NEVER turned it off. The icon is solid white with NO LINE running through it every time I press
the record icon.

Any assistance in helping me fix this issue would be greatly appreciated because it has been exceedingly frustrating and this is the ONLY game recording software that I own.

How do you save game play to OneDrive without gold membership?

If you have a computer with windows 10 then you can access the recordings from your computer using these steps:

Otherwise youll need gold membership

 

No sound recorded in XBOX GAME DVR videos in Windows 10

I have 2 XBOX ONEs and neither of them are recording audio with Game DVR in Windows 10 when streaming via XBOX App.

They both have the NXOE update. Video records just fine.I recorded a number of videos from Xbox App a month ago with audio but now it's not working.

PC - Alienware Aurora R4. OS Windows 10.

Thank you for bringing this up. Let's try to isolate this issue so that we could identify what's causing you unable to use the mic when recording game clips on your computer. Kindly provide us the following information below:

• Can you tell us when did the issue start?
• May I know if you installed the latest Windows 10 Update on your computer?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try switching off the Recorded Audio option in Game DVR from
Settings > Gaming, then try to turn it back on and check if you will be able to record the audio from your microphone.
