Windows 10 DVR after 10 seconds says nothing to record try again

as per title. used to work but doesnt now.

I have seen others report this but no resolve at the moment.

i have nvidia graphics gtx780m and trying to capture hearthstone

Windows 10 Game DVR Issues

So I try to GAME DVR a stream again from XBOX (non-beta) app tonight and I was able to record past the 10 second mark while sitting at the dashboard. I stop GAME DVR and load up NBA LIVE 15. WIN+ALT+R to record and BAM - Can't record right now. Wait a few
minutes, try WIN+ALT+R again, starts to record but fails after 10 seconds, nothing to record right now.

This is frustrating.

Same issue, it used to work and doesnt work anymore, same error message about 10 sec as everyone else.

I guess this forum is dead and nobody qualified is responding to anything. Thread with most reply's about this issue was locked because it was "a little old" just wow. If its a little old issue then maybe fix it already instead of locking threads hoping
people will forget about it. This is clearly not issue with hardware since it was working, you messed something up in one of updates @microsoft

 

This also happened to me and I fixed it along with Microsoft Chat support. Switch your cable on the end where you plug it into your pc. You probably have onboard gfx and that one is selected as a standard. Or is just more supported than the more current
one you have. It could also mean that that gfx is not (yet) supported. If you want to record, switch to Onboard gfx slot instead of your nvidia geforce.

This is weird tho that my Nvidia geforce 560 ti doesn't work to record games, but my onboard, low memory, gfx card indeed is supported and when I connected my screen to my onboard vga slot. It worked.

 

its working now and i have done nothing. expect as other have it was a faulty patch which has now been fixed.
