Windows 10 Creators Update Privacy Settings Update causes apps to be unavailable

Since the auto-install of the above update am told I do not currently have access to Minesweeper (plus some other apps). Looking at the forums seems I am not the only one. Did anybody test this update? If they did they did a very poor job...

Pyramid solitaire is my favorite game but recently it stopped loading. All the other games load ok.

Make sure you are running the current version of Windows 10, you should be on version 1703, this is the latest Windows 10 Creators Update. I am on the Windows Insider program and during the betapreview there was an issue with Solitaire, Wordament, and other
Microsoft game apps just hanging and not loading. All this was fixed with the latest update and I haven't had an issue with any of the apps since. There is a link there to check which version of Windows you are running too and then you can decide to upgrade if you need to.

I have the same issue. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it will not let me reinstall. Error code 0x803F8001.

 

This seems to be an overwhelming problem with many users. Error code 0x803F8001 seems to be frequently asked about, but no replies of consequence from Microsoft. Same error code arises in Magic Jigsaaw Puzzles. No reinstall can be performed in either.

 

Same problem with me in windows 10 with Mineswepper and Jigsaw. Last week finally I managed o log with both but now the problem as returned....
