Windows 10 and Streaming games and Connectivity

We have arrived, I include myself because I'm a true xbox fan. What you guys have done is awesome, managing my xbox from pc is great. I have one suggestion or request. It would be great if I could stream my games from box to pc while on another network.
I can then leave box home as I work out of town a lot and stay in hotels. My biggest issue is trying to connect my xb1 console to the hotel network. I stay at locations that have wireless and Ethernet jacks in the rooms and thought that by now there would
be a way to accept their permissions and passwords through the browser to connect. That would be awesome if that could happen. Does anyone know if that is something that will happen in the future in addition the game streaming thought?

So if i'm understanding correctly you are attempting to connect your Surface table to the Xbox One X for game streaming?

Thanks for the response.... i'll try this as soon as my box comes back from repair. It errored out on my 2 days ago. Once I am up and running again, I will let you know if this solved my

problem.

It's doubtful that it would work like that, but I have a solution for your xbox at a hotel's network. You need to take a mac address off another device that has already connected to the hotel and accepted their terms, then set it as the alt mac address on
the xbox. Hope that helps. =)

Hmmm, great idea. That would definitely be worth a try. Say you have your laptop/phone/tablet authenticate through the hotel's security then take the MAC address from that device and use it as the alt MAC address of the XBOX.

I know some of the hotels that I have stayed in have hit or miss wireless connection speeds which can be frustrating. I know many are constantly working to improve on their connectivity since so many people use that service these days.

You can do as listed above , if you travel with a laptop though you could just bridge it that way , lots of people simply call the front desk or the hotels isp and have them enter the mac address for their xbox one... a "travel router" has also been mentioned
but I'm not sure how those really work (or really don't work)...

The Xbox One streams wirelessly to a pc that has windows 10 and the Xbox app installed on it.

It does not matter that a TV is connected to the Xbox One. The console does need to be powered on to stream.
