    Win10 Does Not Recognize Xbox One S Control by USB Cable


    When I plugged the xbox one S controller into the pc through the usb, the control vibrates but win10 does not recognize it. My windows is original and it's all up to date. If you press the X control, the white light will blink continuously. Does anyone know
    what can it be ? I already tested 3 different usb cables I do not have xbox to try to find some update for the control ...

    Tool on PC to change layout of the XBOX One S Controller (bluetooth)?

    Hello everyone,

    My "xbox one s" controller works fine via bluetooth under win10 and it`s recognized by every game I own. So far so good.

    I know, that you can customize only the XBOX "Elite" controller via Xbox Accessories app on Win10, to for excample change the button layout and so on.

    Does anyone know of a possibility to customize the normal xbox one s controller under win10? I tried the program "MotionInJoy" but it doesnt work.

    Mine hasn't worked for months and i get the same error message. (USB Device Not Recognized)

    I'm connecting directly to USB using a usb cable.

    Ive tried six different USB cables so its not a bad cable.

    It used to work but now I have a useless xbox one controller since I don't even own an xbox one!

    Note: This is the windows version of the xbox controller that comes with a usb cable. (same controller as console though)

    I have the same problem. I think it was caused by a controller update (version from 17.11.2021). I enjoyed the new fast switching feature between Xbox and Bluetooth devices (double click pairing button).

    Switching controller between Xbox/Bluetooth devices - OK

    Xbox connection - OK

    Android mobile connection (bluetooth) - OK

    PC Win10 USB connection - OK

    PC Win10 Bluetooth connection - does not work. the pairing will be fine but controller does not work.

    Xbox One S, 2pcs XboxOne controller, Windows 10 completely updated.

    EDIT:

    resolved issue - update Windows 10 21H2.
