    Win 10 Gamebar/Xbox Social/Start a party error


    0x00000000 then party closes.

    Just trying to use the Voicechat that I used all the time and this error has been coming up now for the past month.

    I had to do a fresh install due to reasons on my PC and before I did that this Party Chat would work reliably.

    Since the fresh install No form of party works at all.

    Xbox/beta and the Companion app/beta

    Both run into errors when trying.

    Looked online for help and all it comes back to is the "Tereudo Fix" which does nothing.

    also did the Netsh rabbit hole and had no success but my information did say from what I could gather was in working order and so it had to be something else.

    Nat is also solidly Open with this issue.

    I have updated all apps. I receive no error message. I click on a friend and click start a party or join party but nothing happens. I click on gamebar and nothing happens. I click on windows + G but nothing pops up.

    Sounds like you are having GameBar issues! Take a look at our Gamebar support articles:

    Troubleshoot Game Bar on Windows 10

    Keep in mind with updates sometimes certain features are made unavailable. This may not be the case in this instance but it is a possibility.

    Game Bar Party only hears me if xbox game bar is actively open

    This is by no means a good fix, but it has worked for me at at least lets you talk to your friends without actively keeping the gamebar open. When you are in a party, hit Win + G and click the pin icon on the "xbox party widget". You will see the overlay on your screen which is a tad annoying, but party chat will actually work and people can hear you.
