    Will Xbox One discs be playable on the new Xbox series X?


    Will Xbox One discs be playable on the new Xbox series X? For example; I purchase Madden 21 which is compatible with Xbox One. Will it be playable on the Xbox Series X? Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    nope, most if not all current games on xbox one will be playable on the series x, eventually there will be games release just for the series x and they wont be playable on previouse console versions.

    Xbox one s and Xbox one X are the same family, series x will be the new console and eventually (a couple of years down the line hopefully) games will only be release on the series x family so the xbox one x will not be able to play them.

    I don't have it game pass ultimate subscription and I cant play games digitally what I should do with xbox one s?

    Upgrading from xbox one to series x it the best option because most new games what are coming out are playable only on the series x and are not available to play on the xbox one.

    I’m having the same problem, the disc literally says it’s multi system playable, it says series x/s and Xbox one on it, my disc spins a few times then stops, Xbox doesn’t do anything. No error message or anything
