    Will Xbox 360 Offline achievements sync if I change my gamertag elsewhere before going back...


    I have an XBOX LIVE account but I am currently offline on my Xbox. I use this account and play games offline and I have unlocked a bunch of achievements.

    I want to change my gamertag right now but unfortunately I can't connect my Xbox to the internet cos I'm getting new connection.

    If I change my gamertag for the XBOX LIVE 360 ACCOUNT on the web browser on my computer, when I go back online on the 360 will my achievements sync up to my new gamertag?

    It's the same account but I want to change its gamertag.

    If I am being unclear, feel free to ask more questions.

    Just to add: I'm signed into the Xbox account on my 360 and it is an XBOX LIVE account.

    My 360 isn't connected to the internet but has been before when I first signed into the account.

    The achievements are offline achievements.

    Then they will be unlocked normally and synced to the server.

    This might be a dumb question but would it be possible to recover my gamertag on my own console to play single player games offline, get achievements, and then not lose them when the investigation is finished and I go back on Live? I only have one xbox,
    so I'm aware if I recovered it elsewhere I wouldn't be able to keep the achievements.

    3 different gamerscores.

    I had the same problem before, you have scored some achievements offline and xbox live is incapable to track it. Just recover your own gamertag on your xbox and it should sync them.

    *Warning you may lose some achievements*
