Will xbox 1 / 1s / 1x online services shut down? And if so when.

My friend said something about how Xbox could be possibly stopping online services on Xbox 1 / 1s / 1x, and I want to know if that's true.

Highly doubtful that will happen anytime soon. Many game developers and publishers still support the Xbox One range of consoles. It certainly won't be shutdown yet.

No. Although the game disc is backwards compatible, you can't play online anymore with any Xbox 1 game. The original Xbox service was shut down April 2010.

Only the mobile versions of the game were shut down, so it's still running on the One. EA would be the ones to find out if/when a server will shut down, but there's nothing listed so far for that game. It would be listed here -
