Will u delete the "sad" inactive account?

Ok so theres this gamertag named "sad" i want it because it's OG and its been inactive for 5 years, how i know this is that all the accounts gameclips says "5y ago" and i searched it on a website where you can search xbox users and u can see where they
last played and it said that all its games were played on the account 5 years ago and it says xbox 360 so i wanna know if i can get it, thank you.

Hi, I mean that every 7 years inactive gamertags are deleted by Microsoft and then available again. Maybe you should wait another 2 years, then it could be yours. Have Fun

The 7 years has never been a thing, but starting August 30, 2019, if a person doesn't sign into their Microsoft account for 2 years, they will close the account which should free up the gamertag as well. But again, Microsoft accounts are used on various
services so even if they are not using an Xbox, the account and tag could be in use elsewhere.

xbox recently started letting users get the same gamertag, although there will be a suffix

I have heard rumor that every so often they go and deactivate super inactive accounts, but I've yet to see it for any im looking at.
