    Hello, Alexandru R. I’m Arturo, and I’ll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

    By looking at the monitor description, the manufacturer said it has an HDMI 2.0 port.
    However, they don’t state if 120Hz is available through HDMI and DisplayPort or just via DisplayPort.

    You may want to contact Dell support to review this.

    If they confirm 120Hz can be enabled via HDMI, you should be able to set 120Hz in your console, but not at 4K.

    Yep, in compatible games that monitor can do 1080p at 120FPS with a Series X, as confirmed in this RTINGS review: -

    I would shop around though, cos there may be better options for Xbox use at a similar price.

    The game does support 120fps. Make sure your monitor/TV can support 120fps, otherwise the game will only run 60fps.

    I am wondering if a asus tuf VG249Q1R can handle a 2.1 hdmi cable to run at 120fps at 1080 on Xbox series x or would I need to buy a certain cable for tye monitor to work at 120fps?

    No I have the ultra high speed cable but would the monitor support that and run on 120fps?
