    Will there ever be a decent size expansion card, 4tb?


    I’d gladly hand cash over for one and although people say you don’t need it as you can just transfer games accord to a external hdd when not in use, I don’t want to.

    I want to play my games when I want to play them, not waiting 15 mins or more to transfer it over. I can’t be the only person on earth who feels this way, games are getting big and the storage needs to keep up

    Maybe one day, but that would be down to the manufacturers of the storage cards.

    Hi guys,

    Could you please post the make, model and sizes of your drives. Personally I have a Seagate Desktop Expansion Drive that's 4TB and have had no issues whatsoever.

    Why can't you play series x games on ext ssd?

    I see, so is that the same deal for PC gaming? Like because the games are 4k@120fps it will only use nvme speeds?

    Also when will Microsoft ever release 2tb or even 4tb of the nvme card?
    At present the only capacity NVMe expansion card is 1TB. It does support hot swap but so far only 1TB has been offered,

    I am sure some users will spend more for 2TB or even 4TB.
