Will there be cross progression on the Free Trial of FFXIV?

That is what I was thinking as well. I bounced between PC and Playstation and it seemed like a really good system to have in place. The only thing I was thinking is if maybe it gets treated different since its technically a Free Trial

But I feel like they know that would be a pretty big misstep to not allow people that already have an account play during the beta time frame. We are likely the people that will be bringing in new players and the most activity during the beta initially until it gets big traction and people just naturally stumble on the game

The thing is I have plenty of Jobs that I can still level up to 60. So this works for me. I will also be introducing the game to a few friends so I would be by nature leveling my other Jobs anyways.

Is there actually confirmation on Cross progression. Or is it being possible speculation?

I just don't want to have to make an alt account essentially to play when the Free Trial drops. I'd much rather make progress on my account as it is with those other jobs. and would not want to wait till Spring 2024 to play

Exactly, it is a very big responsibility that we veterans have in the game to be able to welcome new players, really Xbox players will really like Final Fantasy XIV.

At the moment it's just speculation Square hasn't updated any information about it yet I'm just following the logic, as I've played this game cross-platform since PlayStation 3, it doesn't make sense for it to be different on Xbox One.
