    Mercenaries is a Xbox Original game, I'm not sure if it can be played on the Xbox 360, some xbox original games are no longer compatible with Xbox 360 backward compatibility.

    Hello howhigh375,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your inquiry. With games coming backward compatible it is mostly up to the developers. Also these games were for PC only don't think there were ever released for Xbox. There would be no way to make it backward compatible.
    Only ones that were out for Xbox original were dark alliance, them you would have to go through the developer to see if they would release as a backward compatible.
