    Solid state drives have a certain amount of write endurance, which helps to determine how long they will last. Instead of waiting for something mechanical to break like a traditional hard drive, these drives like on the new Xboxes will only be able to write so many times before they start to fail. According to Anandtech on a recent nvme review


    write endurance of a SSD scales roughly linearly with its capacity: a 2TB drive can handle about twice as many TB of writes over its lifespan as a 1TB drive.

    So if somebody buys an Xbox Series S, which only has a 512GB drive, will they be putting their system in long terms jeopardy by being an Xbox Insider?

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead
