    I joined xbos insider as omega 2 weeks when rosetti tweeted about alpha skip ahead and alpha ring getting free to play feature and I also saw beta and delta user get this feature in the recent days. So as a new insider and an omega user will I get this feature ? If yes probably when ? Or will it directly release to public ?

    Thank you for your post. Games on the store that are free to play are available for download can be played in singleplayer without Xbox Live Gold. If the game has multiplayer features an Xbox Live Gold subscription is needed to play.

    The non-gold requirement for free to play games is currently in testing by Xbox Insiders, so it shouldn't too long before you can play a free to play game without the need of a subscription.

    Microsoft announced last year, that you won't need a subscription to play free to play games, including fortnite. This feature is currently in testing by Xbox Insiders, and should be available for everyone soon.
