    Will Starfield have keyboard and mouse support on series X/S?


    Considering that Starfield is a first person shooter the ideal and more suitable way to play the game should be with a keyboard and mouse, but it seems that Starfield doesn't have k & m support on console, along with that many Xbox exclusives such as Halo and Gears come with native keyboard and mouse support. With that in mind, I'd like to ask if keyboard and mouse support will ever come to Xbox consoles?

    Unfortunately, so far nothing has been confirmed by Bethesda regarding this, but it is very unlikely that Starfield will have mouse and keyboard support on Xbox Series X/S as people who played in early access were unable to connect keyboard and mouse in the game. Another reason for not having keyboard and mouse support is the recent history of Bethesda games that do not have this functionality on consoles.

    Some games on the Xbox One or Series X|S do support keyboard and mouse. So if you use a keyboard and mouse just by plugging them into the usb ports on the Xbox console, then no it is not a bannable offense. It can be though if you use an unofficial adapter to play on games that do not support keyboard and mouse.

    That means absolutely nothing, you'll find. For the remapping of keyboard functions to the series 2 controller and Adaptive controller the game in question MUST have keyboard support in the first place AND a keyboard connected to the console. I can confirm right now after testing that the keyboard function mapping to series 2 controllers DOES NOT work for Starfield, which DOES NOT support K&M control. This is an absolute joke. Imagine. Bethesda RPG's.... WITHOUT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE SUPPORT. It's honestly laughable.
