unfortunately you cannot, the controller is set to ''always'' connect to the last synced device.

you will have to sync your controller every time you want to switch device

and turning off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until it turn off is the intended way of turning it off without turning the Xbox off (when synced to an Xbox), or when synced to another device other then the Xbox

Thanks for replying.

I have tried with different batteries, and with other controllers too, and Yes, I have tried pressing and holding both sync buttons from the controller and the console, but as soon as the syncing process starts in both devices, light on both suddenly stops rotating. It doesn't connect, but light on both devices stop rotating as soon as the other device recognises it.

Here I'm not 300% sure, so if I'm wrong I'm happy to be corrected. But I've always had to re-sync my controller for win 10 use, mostly because i then pair it with an Xbox.

If you sync the controller with any other device you will have to sync it again on the device you want to use it.

and it finally solves it finally my pc is in the devices

the sync also fixes the device issue because it was turn off meaning it didn't add to the devices also known as "other windows settings" i just read it on the internet about the sync but yea thanks again

So do I understand that correctly that in order to "fix" a broken Sync Button, you ripped the button out?

In that case, there is no other way to get the controller to sync with your mobile device.

You could try to re-attach the button, or bridge the contacts manually to get the controller into sync mode.

But without the button, there is no other way to get the controller into sync mode.
