Will not connect to my connection

Try a power cycle and also check your NAT and the reboot your router.

Does your Xbox see your network? Look under settings/system/network settings and see if your network shows up there.

have you typed the correct wireless password in for one and two have you done a network test to see if you get an error?

i have the same things happening to me, before the update i had no lag and the online games ran fine but now after the update it seems to lag all the time and my dashborde takes about 2-3 min to load up when im connected to live but fine when not and the
marketplace wont load up for me i have cleared my cache done the Xbox live test that says its fine but still the same problems i even contacted my isp to see if it was my net but its running fine and strong on 13-14 meg so i know its not my net and when it
dose work affter hrs of trying the download just stops on 60-65% it even took me 20 min to download a game update that was only 105kb plz help us to sort this out .

Sorry to hear things seem so slow with your console right now. let's see what we can do about that.

First, could you try clearing your console's cache? "How to Clear Your Xbox 360 System Cache". This will remove temporary files and game updates.

Secondly, could you try re-downloading your Gamertag? "Download, Move, or Delete Your Xbox LIVE Profile". Give the console another go at this
point and let us know if things have improved.

If neither of these steps work, could you verify for us if these lag issues occur even while you're not logged into LIVE? If that's the case, it may not be a connection-related issue, but something to do with the console itself.
