Will my son lose his progress in a game pass game if he buys it separately?

My son downloaded SW Battlefront II with a game pass. He would now like to purchase the game instead of buying a game pass extension. Will he lose the progress he made on his game pass version of the game?

Nope. The progress will be the same so he'll just pick up where he left off.

My son is worried about losing his game progress and in app purchases, will he lose there by doing this? Thanks

Hi, I just got the xbox one with COD Ghosts. There is my profile and my son's, i was thinking we could progress separately through the game.

However, when my son was playing he got signed out and the code above resulted.

Because of this he lost all his progress and it seemed whichever one of us is signed in the game has reset to my checkpoint.

Can someone clarify how the profiles work especially when kinect is involved in signing people in and passing the controller? Thanks.

Hello Georges C. Thank you for responding to my question. I really appreciate it. Will my son lose his gaming progress such as for Fortnite? If the email address he has been using is also connected to an Epic games account for Fortnite will he retain his progress?

I thought about that but only wanted to do that as a last resort option, my son is terrified he will lose all of his progress on his other games.
