Will my Omen Mindframe Headset work if i connect them to the usb port of my Xbox One?

I recently got this headset but when I connect them to the Xbox (on the usb port) i just can turn them on but I cant talk or hear anything.

What I need to do to make them work?

no mics can not use the usb port

This headset does not seem to be compatible with the Xbox One console. There are many compatible headsets on the market that you can take a look at to use with the Xbox One console.

In your case the headset will not work as it does not have the 3.5mm Aux jack. Headsets will not work through the USB port on the console.

My son had this problem. His wireless headset did not connect directly to the Xbox, he needed to plug in a littl USB dongle that came with the headset into the xbox for it to work. Make sure you don't need one of these USB dongles for it to work and if
it does, maybe try a different USB port on the xbox.

1. My friend lent me their headset and it works no problem.

2. No changes at all to either the console or headset prior to it not working.

3. I tried connecting it to the laptop and same issue it will connect to the USB transceiver but not finish connecting to the laptop.

4. I've power cycled the Xbox, made sure there wasn't an update for the Xbox or headset, tried resetting the headset and USB, tried using all the different USB ports on both the Xbox and laptop.

I think I might need a new USB transceiver, but I want to make sure I exhaust all my options before I spend that money just to find out that I didn't need it.

For USB headsets, they must be certified by Microsoft or specifically mention that it works on Xbox One. Or just stick to headsets that can connect to the 3.5mm port on your controller.
