Will Microsoft make DLC for Xbox 360 games downloadable through Xbox Storefront?

I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search in Xbox support and found some good information, which you should take into account, to know if the problem is in a pending configuration:

Games and downloadable content (DLC) are automatically installed on your primary Xbox console if you have power mode set to Sleep and Keep my games and apps up to date enabled. To configure these options, press the Xbox button  to open the guide, then:

Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > Power options to adjust the power options settings.

Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates to adjust system update options.

In addition to this, you should consider that if the same problem still appears, it must be because the platform does not have it available at the moment, since the store closure has not yet arrived.

The only way to download season pass content for an xbox 360 game is through the game itself. But since you are playing the game on an xbox one, you may have problems getting the dlc to download due to the fact that the game is run in the xbox 360 emulator.
You could try to get the dlc through the game and once you have confirmed that you have the dlc via the game, then you should find the dlc in the manage game section of forza Horizon on the Xbox One ready for you to download.

I can confirm I’m able to make purchases on Xbox Series X store using the UK storefront and my UK bank card. I’m also able to do the same from the Microsoft store on Windows 11. Only thing I can’t do is the 360 marketplace as that forces me to use the foreign store. Is there anything else I need to be aware of or is it just the 360 marketplace I’m locked out of for 90 days? All of my games, licenses etc all appear to still be working despite the migration and my windows 11 and Xbox are both using the UK region despite my account region being some foreign country. Only thing I can’t do, like I said, is buy DLC for a backwards compatible Xbox 360 game from the 360 marketplace as the old 360 marketplace is forcing the foreign region with no way of manually switching (windows & Xbox series X storefronts can be manually switched).

Hi, yes you can buy the dlc either with an xbox 360 or through the store on xbox.com. The dlc will then show up in the games manage game section, you just select the dlc and start the download from there.

The other thing that might be slowing down things: integration of 360 games and dlc into the one storefront. That might be something the pubs want first (to increase dollars).
