Will Microsoft fix my Xbox One disc reader?

Recently, I got a Xbox One X from my friend. They only had GTA 5. Since getting the Xbox I got a Lego Hogwarts game and Stray, both do not work. I tried all the things the microsoft said to do, for example make sure everything is up to date, clear data, factory reset etc. And still only GTA 5 works, so yesterday I tested with a film DVD if it would work, it did. Today I took Stray and Lego Hogwarts back to the shop and replaced Lego Hogwarts and got a refund for Stray, I’ve come home and tried it out and still the new disc doesn’t work. So I tried GTA 5 again and that still works, then tried the film and the same film from yesterday and it didn’t work, I tried 5 other film all don’t work. I was searching for if other people have had this issue and other people say if GTA 5 is left in the reader for too long it will damage the laser so the reader will only read GTA 5 and will take a lot of taking it in and out for other discs to work. Which to me doesn’t make sense, how does leaving a disc in the reader too long damage the reader?I’ve been searching to see if microsoft will fix it, and the warranty has ran out years ago which is okay I’m willing to pay. But I was looking at what devices they will fix and at what price, it says xbox s and xbox x and some other devices but doesn’t say Xbox One. So my question is, is the reader the problem and will microsoft take in Xbox One’s?
