    Will Microsoft announce more backwards compatible Xbox 360 games at e3?


    I've been hoping that Microsoft will bring back the backwards compatibility program. I am hoping at e3 they make an announcement about it. I think e3 would be the perfect time to announce it. I think the Xbox series x is perfectly capable of running every Xbox game ever made since it's a powerful console. I'm thinking they are working behind the scenes testing as many games as possible to see if they work. I'm hoping this is the case. What do you think?

    They announced at E3 that they're moving away from the backwards compatibility program to focus making titles work for Project Scarlett. So there will be no more games coming to the backwards compatibility for the Xbox one.

    Another fantastic deal. Especially right after E3 and the backwards compatibility feature announced. I hope more of the Xbox 360 community jump all over this and buy either a 500GB or 1TB Xbox One + any free game deal.

    Burnout 3 on Xbox One

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums!

    Unfortunately Burnout 3 is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Only Burnout Paradise and Burnout Revenge is backwards compatible. Microsoft also announced during E3 that there will be no more games released on the Xbox One backwards compatible
    list to focus on backwards compatibility for the upcoming Project Scarlett console. So Burnout 3 will not come out as a backwards compatible title on the Xbox One I'm sorry to say.
