Will what work

Unless you are talking about the switch pro or a downgraded game or Minecraft next gen games and most current ones won't run well

Calisto procotol I have to say runs poor even on a switch pro which makes me wonder how it runs on a ps5 I ran the benchmark myself it only works on low and even then it runs the temperatures sky high (it's own benchmark )

So unless you tell us which game you are talking about we can't help

Same issue but working fine on the Nintendo switch

Xbox is having some server issues right now, which is most likely the root of your problem!

Minecraft uses Xbox Live sign in to play, that would be why you are unable to play.

Keep an out on Xbox Server Status for updates, or subscribe to the server notifications system to be notified when servers will go up! https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

If servers go up, and this issue keeps happening, contact or reply and ill try to help you out once again in more detail!
