Will I get the same controller when using warranty?

Hi

I had got a design labs custom elite controller. It has my name engraved on it and everything, and the A button happened to go out. I still have the Microsoft Limited 1 Year warranty on it. I was just wondering if I sent it in, would I get the exact same controller or would it be completely different? If it's going to be replaced with a generic design and not everything I paid for, I rather just not send it in.

I have the same problem with my white Elite controller too, I've had to adjust the way I play games a little by not removing my thumb from the stick as much, so I've had to stop using a flick motion when using menus etc.

I only noticed the issue after the controller warranty ended, so I didn't really have a choice. If your controller is still under warranty then you may be able to get it replaced/repaired.

Yes it depends if you have a Warranty or not. If not, when I've found myself in the same boat with a controller not working properly, I just bought a new one to be honest. I used it as an opportunity to get myself a custom one made through the Xbox Design
Labs, and it's still the one I use today and it's my favorite controller.

I got the same problem. Why this procedure on the site ( https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty ) still not working for us? Nothing happens when the request button is clicked.
