Will I get my old games back if I use my old gamertag with a new Xbox One S?

I had an Xbox One S console that came with a few games that are digital downloads. I also got a few more games from Games with Gold. I lost my Xbox, I don't want to explain the reason why I lost it.

I just ordered another used Xbox One S, I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I plan to use my old Gamertag with the new console. The question is, will I still have all my games that are digital downloads once I log in to my Gamertag from the new console?

Yep.Any digital content is tied to the account that bought it or downloaded it so once you have your account on your new console go to "my games & apps" & everything should be in the "Full Library" section.

On my new xbox I've redeemed my old account but I've changed the gamertag, I'm wanting to transfer games ext from my old xbox to the new one but the data is owned by my old gamertag can I still transfer from the old gamertag to my new one ??

Well, I don't need to change my gamertag for my new (accidentally) created account. I just need to log back into my old xbox account.

And if I try to use my old gamertag, it says that it's already used. Trying to add a # makes it say that I need to have 12 characters or less.

My email doesn't access 2 accounts, it only accesses the new one and I can't log back into my old one.

Nope still got my old gamertag on there and I did pay for this one tho when I click "Choose your new gamertag" it shows my new one but when I back out it still shows my old gamertag.
