Will downloads resume or start over if internet is used up?

I was installing Halo 5, but I ran out of this month’s internet because the download is too big. When my internet cycle restarts in 15 days, will I have to start over, or will the installation resume where it left off? Is it okay to turn off the Xbox, or
do I need to leave it on with the download paused for 15 days till my internet re-ups? Thanks for any help!

Issue Downloading Jurassic Park Lego Game

I purchased and downloaded the Jurassic Park Lego game last night. The installation process is stuck at 45% for over 12 hours now. I checked the internet connection and it is fine, I attempted to pause and resume the download. It paused but now will not
resume. I then tried to cancel the download and start over again but when I try to cancel the download it does not work. Can you please help?

i need a quick answer, if im downloading a game on xbox live and its half way throught and i get disconnected will the download resume from were it left off last time or will it start over

I think it starts automatically every time you start your Xbox but I'm not sure on that.

 

I would suggest changing the power-up settings instant-on and pause the download so you don't exceed your data limit then switch off.

Once your cycle resets, you should be able to resume the download when you switch on your xbox.

And the answer is... downloads resume from where they left off as long as they have been paused and not canceled. I turned the Xbox One all the way off, unplugged it, brought it to a neighbor’s house, powered it up there, and the download resumed. Thank
you everyone who commented! I am now enjoying Halo 5!
