will already pre-ordered games count for the games on demand reward?

I thought i had all chapters for the Reward story (31-12-2016), bought Fallout 4 (chapter 1) and preordered Resident Evil 7 (chapter 3), but i missed that i didn't buy Battlefield 1 in the digital store but in a gaming shop.

For the Games on Demand reward you have to preorder 3 games. I have already preordered Resident Evil 7 and Halo Wars 2. So if i preorder Mass Effect: Andromeda will that complete my Games on Demand reward?

Games On Demand - Preorder Punch Card (Games Preordered in December 2016)

Hi there,

Do games that were pre-ordered in 2016 count towards to the Game On Demand Pre-Order Punchcard? It would seem a little unfair if they do not? If they don't......is it viable to cancel the preorder and then place a further re-order.... and is so, would
this then count towards the Pre-Order Punchcard??

pre-order madness

My local GAME here in the UK have said that demand is high for both consoles and if you haven't pre-ordered already it will be doubtful you will get either on release but did say they expect their next batch of stock quite soon after the initial release
so hopefully people won't be waiting weeks/months to get hold of one if they haven't already pre-ordered.

In order to qualify, the games have to be preordered during the offer period which started on January 1. If you preordered them before that date, they will not count.

It will not. Promotions only count purchases made during the promotional period.

Since we can only track purchases through the Xbox store, retail purchases will not qualify for our offers, as it seems you are aware.

Regarding your Games on Demand purchase, only eligible pre-order purchases during the offer period will qualify. Since your two pre-orders were made before the current offer period, they would not be eligible for the current offer. Your Resident Evil 7 purchase
would award a punch for the previous Games on Demand, but since you only will get two punches for that punch-card from your purchase of Resident Evil and Titanfall, you did not complete that offer.

Pre-orders do not count towards VIP so it would not have counted towards your VIP boost. Pre-orders will only count for credits or anything if they are part of a specific offer on the site at the time. So your Halo Wars 2 purchase would have counted towards
your Games on Demand Punchcard. Individual purchases are not shown on your Rewards statement. Only offers you have complete.

We are not rewarded for earning achievements unless they are part of a specific promotion. If you pre-ordered Bulletstorm in April then it would count toward the Games on Demand Punchcard and would take 96 hours to process which means it would be too early
to see that reflecting on the Games on Demand Punchcard. Keep in mind that pre-orders only earn rewards as part of a specific promotion and do not count toward MyVip progress/rebates so your pre-order of Lego would not qualify for any current promotions.
