wifi connexion don't work

Discus and support wifi connexion don't work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Split from this thread.     wifi connexion don't work


    My xbox wont work with the multiplayer connection and everytine i try it asks me to do it again and it wont let me play online becausebit just keep lagging everytime i try to play

    Hey Fam thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

    We split this from the original post so we can better cater our responses to help more people!

    We suggest, if it hasn't already been done to clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address) on the console because when that cache gets full it causes this type of errors.

    To clear the cache:

    Settings

    Network

    Network Settings

    Advanced Settings

    Alternate MAC Address

    Clear and restart

    Once it comes back on give the Multiplayer Test another shot and let us know how it goes!

    If clearing the MAC address did not help then we should try some basic troubleshooting. First

    power cycle     your Xbox by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. Then unplug the power cable from the Xbox for about 5 mins.

    Then, Unplug your modem and router from the power for 5 mins as well. Once the time is up get your modem and router up and running first and then plug in your Xbox and turn it on.

    Once the Xbox is on go to your Network Settings and run a Multiplayer test found under the troubleshooting section. Also run a Detailed Network Statistics test to get the data that your Xbox is receiving from your service provider.

    Let us know the test results!

    Hi, it could be the wireless adapter inside the Xbox has failed but give this a shot first.

    Go to settings/ network/ network settings/ advanced settings/ alternate MAC address, select Clear and then select Restart. Try the connection again after the restart.
