Widespread achievement issue with Dark Souls III

Many people are experiencing an issue with random achievements in Dark Souls III not unlocking properly once completed. Basic troubleshooting won't help so please don't waste our time with that nonsense. It's an issue on Xbox LIVE somewhere as is evident
by the fast that it's happened to so many people with random achievements and that everyone who it has happened to has ultimately been able to earn the achievement for completing all of the other achievement in the game.

According to TrueAchievements, 68 people have The Dark Soul achievement (which requires completing all other achievements), yet only 36 of them have all 43 achievements in the game:

This would lead me to believe that about half of the people playing this game have at least one "glitched" achievement. I figured it would all sort itself out eventually but my one glitched achievement happened almost four weeks ago and waiting hasn't fixed
it. This affects a lot of people so hopefully somebody somewhere can unkink the hose that is causing this issue and fix the problem for everyone.

I'm not optimistic but I've got no other options than posting here and praying that someone can pass this info along to someone who can help us.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have 'The Dark Soul' achievement for getting all of the achievements in the game, yet I'm sat on 950G and 42 out of 43 achievements unlocked. I have 1000G/Platinum on all of the Souls games, so it would be a shame if this
issue was never resolved. Please fix this!

 

I'm also having trouble with an achievement (Covenant: Mound-makers) which has been stuck at 100% for 3 days. Judging by how long other peoples have been locked I suspect mine will not be unlocking anytime soon.

 

Much like the others, I'm having the same issue. I've completed this game 100% and with the Dark Soul achievement (gained by getting all achievements in the game) yet 5 remained locked. Clearly something is wrong and hopefully this can get fixed.

 

Same here, have 2 at Done Unlocking, only have 1 more achievement left to get and I would really like these to pop so I get the full 1K score

Same here ! A "Done! Unlocking..." achievement since 3 weeks now ! It's really annoying...

 

Italian guy here, same problem for Covenant: Blue Sentinels, armored on "Done! Unlocking..." from about 2 weeks now.

That is so annoying, why do you create an unlocking/syncro system via network if it doesn't work properly? I mean, too many people now complain about this problem, do something to fix it please.

 

As of today, 159 people on Trueachievements have the Dark Soul achievement, yet only 109 have all of the achievements. Help.

 

I have 4 achievements currently in a "Done...Unlocking state" specifically for Dark Souls 3, having done twice and triple the requirements needed to achieve the unlocks. It's beyond frustrating now and serves as a nuclear bomb for my OCD. I'd really really
like this to be fixed...I've already tried all the basic "tricks" to force the achievements to unlock. Nothing is working...FYI these achievements have been in this current state since before official release date of DS3 in the United States.

Apologies for the delay in response everyone! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with unlocking achievements. It can sometimes take 48-72 hours for an achievement to unlock. If you still don't see the achievement as unlocked please check out the steps in

this troubleshooter including the forum post it links to near the end.

Wait 24-72 hours? I've waited about 672 hours (four weeks) and nothing has happened. This is a widespread issue that cannot be remedied through user troubleshooting. The issue lies somewhere on the Xbox LIVE system. The game believes we have earned these
achievements, which is why the game awards us the Dark Soul achievement for completing all of the achievement, even though Xbox LIVE hasn't properly awarded us one of the achievements that we have completed properly (as the game believes). Basic troubleshooting
is useless. This affects thousands of people, each being plagued by a random achievement in the game not unlocking properly.

You want me to tell you how it goes? Well, we're frustrated with the ineptitude of the "official staff" on these forums. We're frustrated with Microsoft for allowing these achievement issues to persist for so long. We're frustrated that nobody will help
us with an issue that is beyond our control.

We're frustrated that posting in these forums is such a waste of time.
